We finally moved the Lancair ES from my parents' house down to moto.aero World Headquarters. The tail is 13 feet wide, so we either had to get California wide load permits for the 130 mile move, or find a way to make the tail smaller. Since we'd already packed the chain saw, we wound up with this arrangement.

I'm selling my Electronics International MVP-50 six cylinder engine monitor with transducers and senders. I purchased it new at Sun 'n Fun in 2006, but now that we're going to use the Mazda 20b in our Lancair Super ES, we no longer need the MVP-50.  The unit is new and in the original box in which it was shipped to me. Most of the components have never even had the bubble wrap removed, and the unit has never been powered up. I contacted Electronics International to inquire about warranty and upgrades, and to their credit they said they would give the purchaser the same warranty and upgrades as any new purchaser. I am VERY IMPRESSED that Electronics International would go out of their way like that to help me out, and I think it bodes well for future support from them. Awesome! I first read about Speed and Angels about a year ago, but it's never been released so I have been waiting to see it for all this time. I even wrote to the producer to ask if we could sell the movie at moto.aero, but they had not yet decided how they were going to distribute the film. I stumbled across it on Hulu tonight and was blown away! If you fast forward to the flying scenes in Top Gun, you are going to LOVE this movie. It follows two young US Navy aviators through their training in the F-14 Tomcat, the same plane they flew in Top Gun. One of the aviators is the last woman to fly the F-14. Check it out! Very highly recommended. And thanks to my Dad, Major John McMahon, USAF (retired), who gave me my love of flying and will always be my favorite fighter pilot.
